The names alone do not establish speed, control, comfort or print quality. Those properties depend on the specific product and the way you use it.

Start with the mouse movement you actually use
Place the keyboard, notebook and laptop in their normal positions. Move the mouse through an ordinary session. Keep the largest movement clear of equipment and the desktop edge. Mirror the arrangement for a left-handed mouse position.

Measure the larger option honestly
PrintMyPad's custom builder lists 36 × 16 inches and 31.5 × 13.8 inches. Those are both extended formats, so “smaller” here still needs substantial desk space. Use the size guide and include monitor feet, speaker bases and any clamp interruptions.

Choose the artwork around the equipment
A broad mat can display a landscape, pattern, original illustration or photo. The visible portion matters more than the empty-product mockup. A centered face may sit under the keyboard; a repeating pattern can remain recognizable around it.
